How To allow ASP.Net 2.0 on IIS 6 (Windows 2003 Server)

In IIS 6 you have to allow the ASP.NET Web Service Extension explicitly. This Extension is prohibited by default!

Open your Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. Expand the "root" node and select the "Web Service Extensions" node. At the right hand side, search the "ASP.NET v2.0.50727" extension entry and allow it (Button Allow on the left).
